FLEAS

Most flea infestations stem from pets mainly because Fleas depend on a blood meal from a host to survive. A common indicator of fleas is pets repeatedly scratching themselves. Flea feces, also referred to as flea dirt looks similar to coarse ground pepper. You’ll typically find this in pet beds, carpets and rugs. Flea eggs are also another sign they are translucent oval dots and can be found in out of the way places like under furniture, in pet bedding, inside cracks and grooves in the floor and carpets. Fleas can transmit diseases when taking a blood meal from a host or via contaminated fecal pellets.
